Vincentian Volunteers of Cincinnati is an 11-month-long, faith-based residential service program that provides young professionals ages 21-30 an opportunity to live in faith, grow in friendship and serve in solidarity by giving deeply of themselves to their neighbors in need. VVCs live in intentional community and serve full-time in St. Vincent de Paul – Cincinnati’s West End Outreach Center and Service Learning Center, providing both direct and indirect service to our neighbors in need.
The Ozanam Center provides service learning experiences for youth, young adult and adult participants in hopes of instilling a passion for service, social justice, and advocacy. Working in the Ozanam Center, you will both facilitate service learning experiences (retreats, Poverty Simulations, and workshops) as well as provide administrative assistance. You will need self-motivation and a passion for social justice as you research social justice issues, learn our curriculum, assist with data and retreat preparation, and facilitate discussions and activities. This position will be part-time, coupled with direct service opportunities, depending on your interest and placement needs, which would include providing assistance to neighbors we serve through holiday programs, the Choice Food pantry, home visits, 1:1 meetings, etc.
